Recycling VHS tapes

Here is a great article in Metro News from a great column by Queen of Green, Lindsay Coulter. I actually wrote in with this question. No, I haven't moved to Port Moody.     Great stuff. Might I suggest one more route for disposing of old VHS tapes:
    Donate them to my youtube channel, which preserves retro Vancouver television from the 80s and 90s:
    www.youtube.com/user/retrovancouver

    That rules out the thousands of factory-recorded tapes, but at least it puts the self-taped VHS tapes to good use, instead of going in the garbage.
